Amrish Puri’s out-of-the-box acting
Generally you must have seen Amrish Puri as a playback actor but in this film he was seen in the role of Sunny Deol’s sick and helpless father and when Katya (Danny) puts a dog’s leash around his neck, that scene was a very emotional scene.
Record of earning 6 times more than its cost
Director Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ghatak, released in 1996, was the first film to create the record of highest earning of that time, which did a record business of 6 times its cost i.e. 36 crores in a budget of just 6 crores and this film was the blockbuster of that year.
