Rishab Shetty, hardly anyone would remember that name before watching Kantara, that name which told an amazing story of a journey from small jobs to building worth 332 crores. To make ends meet he did everything from selling tea to marketing solar power but he had the passion to do something big and he did it too. Today the trailer of Kantara Chapter 1 has been released which proves that if you have the passion to do something then no one can stop you.

Born on 7 July 1983 in Mangaluru, Rishab Shetty’s real name is Prashant Shetty. He had a passion for storytelling since childhood and due to this, he took admission in acting in Film Institute. He worked from clap boy to spot boy and assistant director and it took 10 years to get his first break in films but he did not accept defeat and kept on living his dreams in his eyes.

What was the first film?
His first film as an actor was “Tughlak” which was released in 2012 but he gained recognition as a director with the horror comedy “Kirik Party” which came in 2016 and created a stir in the Kannada film industry. This film has an IMDB rating of 9.2 and was the biggest hit of that time. After this Rishab Shetty never looked back.
When he received the National Award
Now after this his dreams took flight and he got his first national award for the children’s film “Sa.Hi.Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu” released in 2018. But till now he was limited to Kannada cinema only, then “Kantara” released in 2022 gave him name fame and all India popularity, he played the role of writer, director and actor of this film very well. This film was a cultural festival based on “Bhuta Kola” of Tatiya Karnataka.

The trailer for Kanta Chapter 1 received more than 110 million views in just one day, and the film will be released on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2nd, and advance booking has already begun. Rishab Shetty also received the Best Actor award for the first part of the film.
Rishab Shetty’s success has proved that success is achieved only through hard work, whether it is from selling chairs to winning the National Award, Rishab Shetty has shown that no matter how the beginning is, if the dream is big then the destination is not far.
Kantara Chapter 1 cast
Apart from Rishab Shetty, Jayaram, Rukmini Vasanth, this film also has a new character Gulshan Devvaih who is a renowned Bollywood actor. His character played under the name “Char Kat Atma Ram” is still popular.
