Udta Punjab is the most controversial movies in no 2 this film of Abhishek Chaubey in which had to face a lot of controversies when it was released in 2016. To release this film, a long battle had to be fought with the Censor Board because it was being claimed that there was drug abuse and the Indian state of Punjab was being presented in a wrong way. Along with this, this film was Daljit Dosanjh’s first Pan India film and Shahid Kapoor also got the Best Actor award for his acting in this film. This was the first controversial movie of director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, after which he started making similar controversial movies which include The Tashkant Files, The Kashmir Files, The Kerala Story and the recently released The Bengal Files. This movie is inspired by a true incident in which girls in the state of Kerala were brainwashed and forced to change their religion and then they were left to become ISIS terrorists in Afghanistan. 5. The Kashmir Files
The Kashmir Files was the most controversial movie released in 2022 in which the atrocities on Kashmiri Pandits were shown in a very good way.
